Just to update, I have been following this thread and we're still investigating this issue. I'm waiting on some additional information before we post an official stance either way. I should know more by next week.
To clarify, abusing a "bug" or unintended game mechanic in general can be considered an exploit and I would advise against taking advantage of such things. In any case, I will have an update next week.
